Task Instructions
1. Press bearing out of leg using acceptable pressing tools. Spin the top nut down until the tool holds position snugly on gear leg. Start turning the nut on the bearing insert, while holding the nut on the cup stationary. Once enough pressure is applied the bearing should break free. Press bearing out through the gear leg.
2. Discard the NLG bearing.
3. Inspect NLG fork pivot shaft for signs of galling/wear.
Verification Method
