Task Instructions
1. Jack the aircraft up so that the nose gear is clear of the ground. (796 Empty Weight and CG Measurement While on Jackpoint Scales)
2. If the landing gear is in the up position, verify MASTER switch is OFF and the landing gear is currently UP. Move LANDING GEAR switch to DOWN position then turn MASTER switch ON to allow the landing gear to extend fully. Turn MASTER switch OFF.
Note:
Allow gear to extend under its own weight (no additional weight added).
3. If adjustment is necessary, adjust the NLG extended position by adjusting the most forward limit switch. See Landing Gear Actuator Limit Switch Adjustment Procedure or Landing Gear Actuator Limit Switch Adjustment Procedure depending on Aircraft Serial Number for actuator rigging and adjustment.
4. The ITL001714 3D printed alignment tool should fit flat (with no gaps) against both the bellcrank (ICA000001) and link (ICA007030).
5. Lower aircraft, to allow full aircraft weight on landing gear. Confirm that alignment tool fits flat (with no gaps).
Verification Method
The procedure is complete when the aircraft’s full weight sits on the landing gear and the alignment tool fits flat.
