Replace ECS Line Hose

Use the following instructions to remove and replace ECS line hose.

TY24MX as required (CABLE TIE, NYLON 6-6, 30LB, 5.50, TY-RAP)
Task Instructions
1. If not already done, drain coolant. (Engine Coolant Replacement)
2. Remove 2X ECS line from RH ECS line installation. (General Hose Removal)
3. Cut two 15 ± .25 inch lengths of silicone hose.
4. Connect hoses to supply and return lines. Ensure that hard lines have been inserted 1.25” ± .25” into silicone hoses. Secure hoses in place using clamps. Install 4x clamps so that they are located .25” ± .13” from the end of the hose. Torque to 12 ± 1 in-lbs.
5. Replenish coolant. (Engine Coolant Replacement)
6. Verify that there are no coolant leaks, looking specifically at the hose connections that were disturbed or replaced.
7. Perform ECS and Fuel Leak check as needed.
8. Run the engine for about five minutes or until the coolant temperature starts to rise. Run heater during engine run, look for leaks, ensure heater is working.
9. Shutdown the engine and allow it to cool.
10. Verify that there are no coolant leaks, looking specifically at the hose connections that were disturbed.
11. Check the coolant level and replenish as needed.
