ICON had the privilege of hosting Mayor Montserrat Caballero Tijuana this past week, offering the Mayor and her office an insight into the work being done by ICON in the region. Our 300,000 sq. ft. facility is ground zero for the manufacturing of the ICON A5., and is home to over 150 skilled workers molding, laying up, and creating the composite parts for the ICON A5 fuselage.

ICON’s president Jason Huang and Sr. Manager Production Kevin Golden were proud to show off our capabilities to the Mayor, as seen in the photos above and below.

Since 2017, our ft. facility has been the first step in the manufacturing of the ICON A5, allowing us to scale production to what is soon to be our 200th aircraft. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to learn more about our work in the region.
