Robins Aircraft Company, ICON’s Authorized and Exclusive Dealer for Korea, has received its first sales deposit. The sale took place earlier this month at Galdex (Gyeongbuk Aerospace, Defence and Logistics Exhibition) in Gumi City, Korea, where the ICON A5 was on display. Galdex was created to promote domestic-regional aviation throughout Korea, making it a unique setting to introduce the ICON A5 to many general aviation enthusiasts in Korea. This year marks the exhibit’s first show.

The sale marks the fourth aircraft to make its way from ICON’s Northern California Headquarters to the Republic of Korea, with Robins Aircraft receiving and delivering the aircraft to the new customer.

Galdex represents the first of two major upcoming events in Korea that will feature the ICON A5. Members of the ICON Aircraft US-based team will join our partner in Korea at ADEX 2023 in October. ADEX (Air Defense Expo) is one of Asia’s largest tradeshows and ICON is excited to be introducing the A5 to this audience. More details on this event are below.
